چکیده

Berginia ligulata is medicinally significant and endangered plant of the western Himalayan Region. This used to treat many diseases such as urinary problems heart problems. By using leaf explant, an efficient rapid micropropagation protocol was developed. In in-vitro propagation, MS medium supplemented with benzyl amino purine (BAP), 1-naphthalene acetic acid (NAA) indol-3-acetic (IAA) induce multiple shoots from explants. The most positive response for formation calluses observed on media + BAP(1 mg/L) NAA(1 followed by BAP (0.5 NAA (1 after 3 weeks. Maximum number were obtained (2 +IAA mg/L). % shoot Kn (2.5 concentration. maximum roots without growth regulators. These well-rooted plants established in pots acclimatized lab transferred field conditions. process useful produce large scale.
